A 40 years old female presented to my clinic in Jan 2012 with huhmge swelling in front of neck causing compression on airway with shift of trachea.
After complete clinical examinations and doing some necessary blood tests along with neck Ultrsound it was diagnosed as a case of Huge Mulinodular goitre.
Surgery was planned for her.
Luckily we used Harmonic Scalpel for the Surgery which reduced the amount of blood loss per operatively to about 50ml only otherwise with conventional method of surgery at least 2 pints of blood is needed for the operation.
